01 / THE OPPORTUNITY

Press releases has a role in the bigger picture.

Turn your announcement into a clear press story and distribute it to relevant journalists.

The goal is not to run press releases in isolation. It is to give this service a clear job within your pr & media strategy, with an audience, a relevant message and a next step that makes sense.

02 / OUR APPROACH

A clear brief. A considered execution.

We shape press releases, media outreach, advertorials and launch publicity around the story. Earned coverage and paid placements have different roles, and paid amplification can extend the reach of relevant coverage.

What this means for press releases.

Turn your announcement into a clear press story and distribute it to relevant journalists. Before execution, we clarify the objective, scope, access requirements, responsibilities and reporting approach with your team.

04 / THE CAPABILITIES

From the brief to the next move.

One service, a focused campaign, or ongoing support for your brand or creative agency.

Start with the business question.

Tell us what you want to improve, who you need to reach and what a useful response looks like. We use that context to shape the service rather than beginning with a tool or channel checklist.

Agree on the work.

Define deliverables, account ownership, access, responsibilities, dependencies and reporting before work starts. When another agency is involved, we clarify where each team contributes.

Review, then refine.

Bring the service’s reporting into the wider plan. MIP supports campaign visibility and analysis so your team can decide which questions, creative or allocations to revisit.

Press releases: your questions, answered.

What should a press release contain?

A clear announcement, why it matters, verified facts, approved quotes and a media contact. Supporting images or source material should have the necessary approval and usage rights.

Does a press release need a different angle for each publication?

The underlying facts remain consistent, while the pitch can emphasise what is relevant to a publication’s audience. Relevance should not be created by exaggerating or changing the announcement.

Does release distribution guarantee publication?

No. A release supplies source material, and editors decide whether to use it. Distribution volume should not be presented as equivalent to earned coverage.
