01 / THE OPPORTUNITY

Advertorials has a role in the bigger picture.

Explain your story in greater depth through clearly identified paid editorial placements.

The goal is not to run advertorials in isolation. It is to give this service a clear job within your pr & media strategy, with an audience, a relevant message and a next step that makes sense.

02 / OUR APPROACH

A clear brief. A considered execution.

We shape press releases, media outreach, advertorials and launch publicity around the story. Earned coverage and paid placements have different roles, and paid amplification can extend the reach of relevant coverage.

What this means for advertorials.

Explain your story in greater depth through clearly identified paid editorial placements. Before execution, we clarify the objective, scope, access requirements, responsibilities and reporting approach with your team.

04 / THE CAPABILITIES

From the brief to the next move.

One service, a focused campaign, or ongoing support for your brand or creative agency.

Start with the business question.

Tell us what you want to improve, who you need to reach and what a useful response looks like. We use that context to shape the service rather than beginning with a tool or channel checklist.

Agree on the work.

Define deliverables, account ownership, access, responsibilities, dependencies and reporting before work starts. When another agency is involved, we clarify where each team contributes.

Review, then refine.

Bring the service’s reporting into the wider plan. MIP supports campaign visibility and analysis so your team can decide which questions, creative or allocations to revisit.

Advertorials: your questions, answered.

How is an advertorial different from an earned-media article?

An advertorial is a paid editorial-style placement, while earned coverage is independently selected by editors. Sponsored material should be clearly identified, and publisher terms determine format and approval rights.

What belongs in an advertorial brief?

The audience, verified story, intended next step and preferred publication context. Include approved assets and any required disclosures, then confirm the publisher’s specifications and commercial terms.

How should an advertorial be evaluated?

Review agreed delivery and available engagement or referral reporting. A paid placement does not carry the same editorial independence as earned coverage and should not be described as such.
